How is it August already?

This year seems to have flown by!  How is it August already?  This whole 'working full time' thing is just taking up too much sewing time.

I've done some great projects over the past few months, including some breast cancer walk team capes, valances for a new 'big girl' room, pillows, and more.  Start thinking about the upcoming holidays and those applique shirts you know you want.....

Pillows

Great accent pillows!  I LOVE the fabrics used.

Mixing and matching fabrics with a more expensive fabric or pattern on one side and adding the texture on the other is a great way to add a lot of look and feel for not a lot of expense.

Using decorative cording and hidden zippers really add to the look.

Mixing the type of accent with cording or tassles and using different size pillows looks awesome!
